About the job
The Fairmont Monte Carlo is a luxury hotel located in the heart of the Principality of Monaco. It features 596 rooms, suites, and residences as well as four restaurants, three bars, a Fitness Center, a Spa, two swimming pools, Room Service, and a Catering service.
1. High-end sports services
- Offer tailored individual coaching sessions (fitness, physical preparation, yoga, stretching, pilates depending on qualification) to our member clientele as well as our hotel clientele
- Lead premium small group classes regularly for our member clientele and occasionally for our hotel/group clientele, with particular attention to support.
- Adapt each session to the specific needs of VIP, VVIP, long-stay clients, and residents.
2. Reception and excellence in service
Welcome each client according to LQA standards (personalization, discretion, anticipation).
Ensure a dynamic and operational presence at the fitness reception.
Conduct a precise sports or wellness diagnosis to propose an individualized program.
Provide attentive client follow-up: support, progress, recommendations, loyalty.
Be a true ambassador of the Fitness service and the hotel.
3. Discretion, confidentiality, and exemplary behavior
Strict respect for confidentiality (VIP clients, celebrities, public figures).
Exemplary language, presentation, and demeanor.
Constantly maintain a dynamic, active, welcoming, and warm attitude.
Absolute respect for luxury service culture (anticipation, elegance, care).
No personal individual training tolerated in the gym, whether in the presence of clients or not.
4. Operational excellence and hygiene
Ensure an impeccable gym: daily cleaning of equipment, perfectly organized materials, maintain cleanliness of spaces, take charge of cleaning the room throughout the day when necessary (glass doors, mirrors, parquet, mats, and machines, etc.).
Respect premium hygiene protocols (disinfection of machines after client use, maintenance of machines and spaces).
Ensure client safety while providing a comfortable environment.
5. Development of the sports offer
Contribute to the creation of special and exclusive experiences such as specific classes, detox programs, private suite classes, sunrise/sunset sessions, etc.
Work closely with the Spa and combine the two activities as much as possible to ensure constant commercial development.
6. Communication & brand image
Promote sports services to clients while maintaining an elegant, never commercial attitude.
Participate, if requested, in the hotel's communication materials (videos, photos, events), respecting the brand image.
Technical skills
Perfect mastery of high-end training methods and coaching techniques.
In-depth knowledge of anatomy, muscle strengthening, posturology, and mobility.
Recognized certifications: BPJEPS, STAPS degree, CQP, certified yoga teacher training, Pilates, etc.
Fluent English is mandatory; a second language is an asset (Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, Spanish, etc.).
Behavioral skills (Luxury standards)
Impeccable, elegant, and professional presentation.
Strong sense of customer service, discretion, and courtesy.
Ability to anticipate needs and create a personalized relationship without familiarity.
Adaptability to the expectations of a high-end international clientele.
Organizational skills
Autonomy, rigor, perfect time and space management.
Ability to handle last-minute requests and demanding clients.
Team spirit and smooth communication with all departments.
