Appointment Manager with a Focus on Data Management (m/f/d)

The Faculty Affairs team is part of the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Faculty and ensures professional and high-quality appointment procedures at the University of St.Gallen. Applications from academic re-entrants are warmly welcome. The entire team is involved in the selection process.

• Accompanying the target agreement process (ZV) and the teaching needs and faculty planning (LFB) in close coordination between schools, HR controlling, financial controlling, and PRF management
• Data preparation for ZV and LFP, continuous development of data management and processes; quality assurance and development
• Operational management of appointment procedures for professorships and lecturers at the university, substantive preparation and follow-up of the procedures including the preparation of documents for the university committees
• Advising the commission chairs and acting as an interface between the commission and candidates
• Participation in strategic projects of the Vice-Rectorate

• Relevant experience in science management or own research experience
• Knowledge of the university context and academic career paths
• Good skills in analyzing and processing large amounts of data
• Very good Excel skills, ideally also BI applications
• Completed university degree
• Strong solution- and service-oriented attitude
• High flexibility and willingness to perform
• Confident negotiation and communication skills
• Confidence in working with different professional cultures and stakeholders
• Very good English and German skills
• Participation in strategic projects of the Vice-Rectorate
