The IT Planning Service is the strategy, planning, and control office for the entire IT of the canton of St.Gallen. Our core mission is the expansion and maintenance of customer-oriented and secure IT services for the population and economy. We are responsible for the development and implementation of the cantonal IT strategy and organize all IT processes for efficient collaboration within the cantonal administration. In addition, we ensure smooth and secure data exchange with municipalities, other cantons, and the federal government.

Service Manager digital workplace (m/f/d)

What to expect
- You are responsible for the operational management of the digital workplace and ensure continuous optimization together with the service partner.
- You strategically develop the digital workplace and introduce new requirements, technologies, and best practices.
- You lead the operations committee, coordinate working groups, and ensure compliance with SLAs.
- You plan and control the budget and use resources efficiently.
- You take on leadership or collaboration roles in projects and actively shape our working environment.
- You advise our customers around the digital workplace and promote modern, digital collaboration.
- You optimize service management processes and contribute your know-how for continuous improvements.
What distinguishes you
- You have a completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- You bring several years of experience in service management (ITIL) and product management and understand the interplay of technology, processes, and users.
- You analyze complex requirements and implement them into practical solutions.
- You are innovative, curious, and quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
- You take responsibility, ensure operations, and actively shape the digital workplace.
- You convince through teamwork and strong communication skills.
