The role leads Syngenta’s OT (Operational Technology) manufacturing infrastructure portfolio, a key enabler for manufacturing digital transformation. As a key member of the MET (Manufacturing Engineering Technology) Digital and Data team, they oversee OT investments across our global manufacturing network, ensuring efficient deployment of infrastructure upgrades that align with Syngenta's broader digital objectives.
This role bridges global strategies with local implementations, collaborating closely with regional teams, site managers, and subject matter experts from different functions. By managing the portfolio, the portfolio manager supports governance and prioritization of key initiatives such as OT systems upgrades, cybersecurity enhancement, and readiness for manufacturing 4.0.
This approach supports improved safety, operational continuity, faster technology adoption, and cost optimization in manufacturing, ensuring readiness for future digital capabilities and maximizing value across Syngenta's manufacturing network.
Accountabilities
- Develop global OT infrastructure roadmap focussing on high priority sites aligning business priorities and technical requirements
- Coordinate with regional & site teams, site digital leads and technical owners to deploy the plan and provide regular progress updates
- Monitor and ensure timely, on-budget delivery of key initiatives,
- Establish governance for project delivery monitoring and risk management ensuring alignment with the rest of digital and data teams
- Implement KPIs to track progress towards goals

- Experience in OT portfolio management within manufacturing environments with proven track record in implementing large infrastructure programs
- MS/BS in industrial, engineering or chemical sciences, or a 5-year technical degree in related discipline
- Fluency in English
- Experience in managing complex, multi-site technology projects
- Demonstrated pragmatism and familiarity with the 80/20 approach
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills considering a wide range of cultures
- Projects, Portfolio or Program Management: coordinating and driving multiple projects
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and IT/OT integration
