• IT Business Partner and technical lead for the further development of the application landscape of the "Energy" business segment with a focus on the platform for energy trading and flexibility management
• Responsibility for systems for forecast management, real-time data, trading & optimization logics as well as plant & VPP connection (virtual power plants)
• Ensuring the integration of measurement and weather data, forecasts, decision logics, market information and trading, flexibility control as well as support of the corresponding interfaces
• Responsibility for IT-side change, release & further development management by capturing new requirements and advising the specialist department
• Development of demand-oriented IT architectures in close cooperation with enterprise and IT architecture   
• Taking over the technical project management and active project participation in the introduction of an energy trading platform
• Management of external service providers and software vendors 
• Analysis of IT system errors as 2nd level support, independent troubleshooting or forwarding to 3rd level support
• Training and support of internal specialist departments

• Higher professional education as a business informatics specialist FH or equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in the field of energy trading (especially intraday and balancing energy) as well as flexibility management / renewable energies
• Experience in the conception and technical support of complex, integrated IT systems
• Very good understanding of real-time data architectures, API-based integrations, cloud architectures and IT security
• Basic understanding of optimization and AI-based forecasting models
• Fluent German skills in writing and speaking
