For the Department of Permits & Supervision, which is responsible for the permits and supervision of medical and health professionals as well as institutions, we are looking for a Head of Department Permits & Supervision, 100%, to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
You lead the Department of Permits & Supervision with 15 employees and are a member of the management of the Office of Health. Your department reviews and issues permits and approvals for all licensed service providers in the healthcare sector. In addition, it monitors compliance with regulations through inspections. With your team, you thus make a decisive contribution to safe, reliable, and high-quality healthcare in the canton. You maintain close and constructive cooperation with the relevant service provider associations and other cantons. Together, you develop viable and practical solutions that take into account developments in healthcare while respecting the applicable legal framework. Within the office, you maintain close contact with other departments, especially the legal department. You also represent the department, the office, or the directorate in various national committees.
Your profile
You bring a proven track record in a leadership position as well as a strong understanding of administrative processes and legal issues. You enjoy working with other people and lead your team in a structured and organized manner. Experience in healthcare is an advantage but not a requirement. With your strong service orientation, you convince as well as with your quick and analytical thinking skills. In challenging situations, you act calmly and solution-oriented. You have a clear and precise oral and written expression. High flexibility and ideally further training in management and/or leadership complete your profile.
