Tasks:

• perform, applying service directives and procedures, routine maintenance work on the road network under the responsibility of the Bellinzona Maintenance Center (vegetation cutting, cleaning, winter service, minor repairs, etc.)
• check the need for intervention (road infrastructure monitoring), order and control the services performed by external companies
• report dangerous situations and implement necessary measures, in compliance with service directives or procedures
• provide on-call service (summer and winter) based on seasonal planning and perform shift work outside normal hours, on holidays and at night, as needed

Requirements:

• Federal Certificate of Competence (AFC) in a technical or craft profession (construction, civil engineering, forestry, metal constructions, gardening, etc.), previous practical experience in these same professional fields, or related professions according to orientation.ch sheet (road maintenance worker)
• Category C, CE driving license and driver qualification card (CQC) will be considered a preferential title, by virtue of the mandatory driver admission ordinance (OAut)
• excellent knowledge of the territory where the main activity will be carried out (Bellinzonese, Gambarogno, Locarnese), preference will be given to candidates residing in the area of competence of the Bellinzona Maintenance Center
• proven experience working on road maintenance sites in the presence of traffic, particular attention will be paid to the candidate's knowledge of site signage, accident prevention, and personal safety
• initiative, adaptability, and good teamwork skills
• good physical condition, flexibility, and availability for interventions outside normal working hours (evening/night and/or holidays) if necessary

• working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
