What to expect
- As Teamlead Packaging, you are co-responsible for all customer orders in the parcel channel. You report to the Lead Outbound Parcels and work closely with other team leads of the goods issue, the control center, and quality management.
- Your main responsibility lies in the smooth coordination of daily business and ensuring daily readiness so that our delivery promise "Ordered today, delivered tomorrow" is met.
- You independently organize your area and ensure an optimal flow of logistics processes with efficient personnel and resource planning. Deputies support you in this demanding task.
- You lead a team of about 40 employees both professionally and personally and empower your employees to jointly implement quality and process optimizations.
- You are responsible for the processes of quick packaging (SVP) shipping from consolidation, SVP stuffing, SVP repackaging, special handling, gift wrapping, as well as for recording support cases.
- You actively work on reducing efforts within the responsible processes and at the relevant interfaces.
- Recruitment, independent conduct of annual interviews, ensuring the flow of information through active communication and (quality) training of employees are some keywords that will belong to your area of responsibility in the future.
What you bring
- You are very familiar with the world of logistics and bring profound leadership experience.
- In addition to basic training, further education (e.g., logistics specialist with a federal certificate, projects and/or processes) is highly desired.
- Experience in process optimizations, especially in connection with lean methods.
- Enjoyment of a highly dynamic environment and constant change is a prerequisite to do justice to the great scope for implementing your own ideas and suggestions.
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to support your team during peak times.
- Very good German skills, proficient in handling IT systems, and an impeccable reputation.
- Willingness to work in changing shifts (05:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 23:00) as well as seasonal Saturday deployments. Shift coverage is provided by the Teamlead Packaging or their deputies; predominantly, deployment in the middle shift (07:00 to 17:00) is planned.
