Civil Engineer
as a Scientific Project Staff Member or Scientific Project Leader (100%) by arrangement
In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in various projects in the field of general civil engineering such as infrastructure construction, geotechnics, natural hazards, special civil engineering, road construction, and hydraulic engineering. You will work on demanding tasks with analytical and/or conceptual problem-solving, prepare research projects, and carry them out. In addition, you will produce scientific publications and reports. If suitable, you will teach in our Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering and supervise our students in semester and bachelor theses. You will support acquisition and conduct material testing in our construction laboratory. Furthermore, you will assist the institute management in customer relations and order acquisition as well as other organizational tasks.
Your profile
- PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in the field of civil engineering
- Enjoyment of scientific work
- Experience in leading/handling and executing construction projects and/or research projects
- National and/or international network
- Proficient IT skills (Office, CAD, etc.)
- Proactive and communicative personality
