The Sägermatt Retirement and Nursing Home offers a home to 50 people from Lengnau and the surrounding area who require light to intensive care. Of these, 12 places are in the residential group for people with dementia or special needs. We support and promote their existing resources and are particularly committed to meaningful and enjoyable life and daily activities.
To complement our nursing team, we are looking for immediately or by arrangement
Deputy Ward Manager in the Dementia Residential Group (m/f) 80-100%
You bring with you
- Ability to work in an intraprofessional and interdisciplinary team
- Training in health and nursing care (e.g., HF, AKP, DN I or II)
- Professional experience as well as high social and professional competence, leadership experience is an advantage
- Willingness to take responsibility and high self-motivation
- Positive attitude to life, perseverance, and resilience
- Confident handling of IT and organizational skills
- Discretion, loyalty, empathy, and understanding for elderly and demented people and their social environment
Tasks
- Supporting the ward manager in daily leadership of the ward
- Continuous leadership and coaching of employees in operational, professional, and personal matters
- Recording nursing services
- Supporting the RAI responsible persons in assessing care needs with RAI LTCF
- Deputizing for the ward manager during absence
- Active participation in nursing and care
- Preparation, accompaniment, and follow-up of medical visits
- Active participation in shaping and further developing the nursing process
- Ensuring high-quality care tailored to the needs of our residents
- Supervising our trainees (FaGe, AGS)
