As the deputy head of the Application Management department in the Justice and Security Department, you play an important role in the further development of the future application landscape of our department. This newly created position significantly supports the establishment of the department.

Your tasks
- You support the team leader in leading, promoting, and further developing the team of application managers and actively contribute to a performance-oriented team culture.
- For defined products or applications, you participate in the entire product lifecycle within the Justice and Security Department and independently take responsibility for sub-areas for the offices (military, civil protection, correctional services, migration, state archive, commercial register, road traffic, public prosecutor's office).
- Together with the team, you ensure customer-centered, needs-based, and sustainable IT services with direct added value for the population of Lucerne as well as the employees of the department.
- Together with the team, you support a resilient and disruption-free IT operation and take on coordinating or deputy tasks if necessary.
- You actively contribute to the continuous development of the application landscape, optimize processes, and participate in projects and initiatives of the department.
- In your role, you maintain your professional network (including with corporate IT, product managers, and application management teams) and support the team leader as a contact person for internal and external partners and suppliers within your area of responsibility and topics.
Your profile
- You have completed training in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field (university of applied sciences or university).
- Several years of experience in product responsibility for digital products and services, as a product owner, product manager, or in application management.
- In your previous job or further education, you have already dealt with agile methods such as Kanban, Scrum, or SAFe, and you have a strong affinity for agility.
- Your communication skills are characterized by a strong customer focus, and you enjoy working in a well-coordinated, appreciative team.
- A high service orientation is a matter of course for you.
- You work self-organized and proactively – your thinking and actions are shaped by an ownership mindset.
