About the job
SAHB is a nationwide Swiss specialist office for independent advice for people with disabilities and their relatives. We offer competent support in the procurement of aids and equipment and accompany people on the path to as self-determined a life as possible.
In addition, we prepare technical assessments for social insurances and manage the aids in the disability insurance depot.
To strengthen our team in Brüttisellen, we are looking for a mechanic 100% starting July 1, 2026
approx. 70% field service, regions from Zurich to Eastern Switzerland
Your area of responsibility
- Maintenance of aids (e.g. manual and electric wheelchairs of all kinds, care beds and much more) on site at the client with a well-equipped workshop vehicle
- Carrying out minor repairs, adjustments and deliveries. For more extensive maintenance and repairs, you will work in our workshop
- Independent planning of assignments and ordering of spare parts
- Recording orders in the ERP system
Your profile
- A completed basic craft training in the fields of mechanics, electronics, automation (e.g. bicycle, motorcycle or car mechanic, polymechanic, agricultural or construction machinery mechanic or similar)
- High social competence and/or experience with people with disabilities
- Resilient, reliable personality with a structured way of working
- Good technical understanding and manual skills
- Precise and independent working style
- Category B driving license (mandatory)
- Polished manners and enjoyment of customer contact
