Infrastructure Engineer - SAP Specialist

Your mission

Attached to the IT Infrastructure Operations division, you will play a central role in managing and coordinating the SAP Basis service within a hybrid S/4HANA environment (on-premise and cloud). You ensure the supervision of the performance, quality, and consistency of SAP services while driving their functional and technical evolution. Although your role is mainly focused on governance and coordination, you will occasionally intervene to support operational teams to ensure service continuity.

Main responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the SAP Basis service: definition and monitoring of SLAs, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting,
• ensure the consistency, quality, and performance of SAP Basis services,
• coordinate interactions between internal teams (infrastructure, security, application) and external providers,
• challenge and validate proposals from architects and providers to ensure technical relevance and value of evolutions,
• participate in SAP authorization management and SDK service monitoring,
• contribute to the continuous evolution of the SAP service by integrating business and technological needs,
• work closely with technical architects and application teams to ensure the consistency and quality of SAP services,
• document and organize the service roadmap: processes, governance, continuous improvement,
• occasionally intervene to support operational teams,
• promote smooth and constructive communication among all stakeholders,
• work in coordination with external providers for the execution of technical operations.

Your profile

• University degree, HES in computer science or equivalent training,
• at least 5 years of professional experience in SAP Basis service management or coordination,
• good understanding of hybrid S/4HANA environments (on-premise and cloud),
• knowledge of SAP authorization processes and ITIL service governance practices,
• ability to organize and manage activities involving multiple teams,
• ease in communication and collaboration between teams and domains,
• leadership, rigor, global vision, and sense of service,
• autonomy and ability to occasionally intervene on complex operational issues if necessary,
• excellent interpersonal skills and listening.
