These are your tasks
- Monitor supply networks (electricity, gas, water, district heating, fiber optics, and public transport) in a 3-shift operation
- Record disruptions in the supply networks and assist with disruption management
- Perform switching operations in the high and medium voltage network
- Create switching orders in the medium voltage network
- Ensure network operation for the public transport of the city of Bern
- Take over network management in the areas of electricity, district heating, gas, and water
- Ensure the availability of Energie Wasser Bern outside office hours
What sets you apart
- Basic training in electrical engineering
- Experience in energy, building, house, or service technology and maintenance is an advantage
- Familiar with Microsoft 365, especially MS Office applications and Microsoft Teams
- Good IT skills, ideally also with control systems and control devices
- Willingness to work regular shift work
- Resilient personality who remains calm and composed and acts confidently even in hectic situations
- Responsible and conscientious working style
- Enjoyment of both individual and team work
