About the job
The Ingenbohl Monastery, headquarters of an international community of sisters, is a lively place of encounter. The monastery's cleaning team takes care daily with great commitment of order, cleanliness, and hygiene of the monastery's own buildings, so that the 230 nuns, residents, as well as guests and staff feel comfortable in our premises.To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a responsible, independent, and motivated personality as:
You will work together with a 20-member team for cleanliness and hygiene in the monastery's own premises, set up seminar rooms, and partially take responsibility for the breakfast service for our sisters and residents.
Tasks:
• Professional cleaning of private and common rooms
• Correct execution of visual, maintenance, and basic cleaning
• Ensuring the smooth running of the breakfast service
• Careful handling of all machines, devices, and resources
• Ensuring safety and hygiene regulations
Expectations:
• Completed basic training as a hotel and housekeeping specialist EFZ or an equivalent qualification or several years of experience in cleaning
• High service orientation
• Enjoyment of working with people and teamwork
• Service-oriented, competent, and well-groomed appearance
• Good German skills and appropriate communication
• Flexible working hours and willingness to work varying shifts
• Willingness to work weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
