Make a difference for patients

We are looking for a rigorous, autonomous, and collaborative Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Operations team, based in our UCB offices in Bulle, Switzerland.

Note: position with 5x8 shift schedule.

About the position

As a Laboratory Technician, you will perform analyses according to established procedures, respecting quality, safety, and environmental standards. You will actively contribute to the implementation of the HSE policy at the Bulle site, while ensuring reliable results in a GMP-regulated environment.

Who you will work with

You will join the Quality Operations team of UCB Farchim SA in Bulle. You will collaborate with technicians, supervisors, and other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the laboratory and compliance with internal and external requirements.

What you will do

Perform analyses according to EP, USP, JP pharmacopoeias and internal procedures.

Ensure accurate, reliable, and documented results.

Carry out double-checks and out-of-routine analyses.

Manage subcontracted samples and process received results.

Participate in internal projects and equipment and software validations.

Comply with HSE rules and contribute to the continuous improvement of the laboratory.

Work mainly on HPLC and H(U)PLC analyses, according to your experience.

Interested? Here are the required education, experience, and skills

Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) as a laboratory technician in chemistry/biology or recognized equivalent.

3+ years of experience in a quality laboratory under GMP.

Mastery of techniques: ELISA, HPLC/UPLC, UV, and capillary electrophoresis is an asset.

Knowledge of pharmacopoeias and GMP requirements.

Good level of French, reading technical English.

Proficiency in Office; Empower or LIMS is an asset.
