Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.

Then you are right with us. In this role, you lead the team both professionally and personally and actively shape the further development of our systems. Together we create the technological foundation for a modern tax system.
Your tasks:
- You lead a dedicated operations team together with the team leader and are ready to take over the complete team leadership in the medium term
- You ensure the stable operation of our specialist applications and monitor our platforms and infrastructures – not as a specialist for every detail, but as a generalist and coordinator
- You build bridges: between technology and business, between people and processes
- You drive innovation forward and create structures and systems that work
- You take on the technical and operational responsibility for one or more specialist applications
- You work with our partners who provide infrastructures and platforms
Your profile:
- Completed higher education in computer science or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in application operations and enthusiasm for leadership – whether first leadership experience or clear ambition
- Strong communication skills, organizational talent, and joy in developing others
- You think in solutions, not problems
- Solid knowledge in handling Linux systems completes your profile
- Certifications such as ITIL, HERMES, TOGAF, SaFe, or Scrum are an advantage
