• Independent management of the children's group in consultation with the management/group leader/team according to the socio-pedagogical principles of the KiTa and the requirements and guidelines of the KZU
• Ensuring age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate care and support of the children
• Planning and organizing the daily group routine
• Maintaining dialogue with parents and guardians, conducting development discussions
• Contributing creative ideas
• Promoting and supporting apprentices in collaboration with the trainer
• Participating in intergenerational projects and parent events

• Completed basic training as a childcare specialist, early childhood educator, social pedagogue, or equivalent recognized pedagogical training with professional experience
• Joy, empathy, and patience in dealing with children
• Open, flexible, and warm personality
• Dynamic and physically fit as well as reliable, motivated, and committed
• Excellent German language skills

The KZU, with its two in-house daycares, operates two nursing centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three nursing apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to elderly, care-dependent people and, in addition to various specialized services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
