Your new role
You carry out repairs on the vehicle bodywork, such as the replacement and repair of sheet metal and plastic parts. You paint vehicle parts and perform painting work directly on the vehicle. In cooperation with maintenance, you are responsible for the replacement of vehicle windows. In addition, producing and applying vehicle lettering is also part of your responsibilities.

- You have completed vocational training as a bodywork painter or a similar qualification.
- You hold a category CE driving license or are willing to obtain one.

The St. Gallen Transport Services (VBSG) ensure public transport for the city of St. Gallen and the surrounding area with around 320 employees and 90 buses. Daily, the VBSG safely transport over
85,000 passengers to their destinations. The electrification work of the VBSG is so advanced that today around 65 percent of the driving performance is CO2-neutral. The electricity is sourced from 100 percent hydropower. The goal is for the VBSG to be climate-neutral from 2030 onwards. The VBSG is a department of the St. Gallen city administration.
