Sexton

The Reformed Parish of Horgen is one of the largest and most populous parishes in the canton. With a wide range of meaningful fields of activity, the focus is on people. The parish reaches a large number of people in the community area with its offerings.

At events and celebrations at the church locations Hirzel and Horgen, you are the competent contact person and stand out for your high service orientation. You are a passionate host and skilled in handling technical aids related to our offerings in the church. Together with the team, you shape the vibrant church life of the Horgen parish and support the concerns of our church visitors.

Your diverse core tasks include

• Preparation and accompaniment of church celebrations (services etc.) and external events in the church
• Reception and support of service attendees as needed
• Cleaning and tidying up the church
• Supervision of the "Chilekafi"
• Technical support during events and celebrations in the church (sound technology, heating, etc.)
• Stage setup and dismantling as needed

You bring with you

• Professional experience as a sexton and basic training in sexton service SSV or willingness to complete it
• High service orientation and sense of the role as a host
• Knowledge of MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel) as well as room management Verowa
• High social competence
• Enjoyment in dealing with various stakeholder groups
• Networked thinking
• Communicative, resilient and flexible personality
• Membership in the Reformed State Church desired
