The Cantonal Civil Engineering Office ensures the planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of the 750-kilometer-long cantonal road network. With your expertise and experience, you make an important contribution to preserving the value of the road infrastructure.

As part of a succession arrangement, the Civil Engineering Office / Road Construction Department is looking for a from February 1, 2026 or by arrangement

Your main tasks

Independent management, planning, and design of road infrastructure projects (new construction/renovation and repairs)
Coordination of project implementation with authorities and planners
Conducting tenders, clarifications, and contract awards
Leadership and management of execution projects (site supervision)

You bring with you

Basic training in the construction industry, preferably civil/road construction
Further training as an engineer, project/construction manager
Experience in planning and construction management (project management)
Good social skills and communication abilities in dealing with authorities, planners, contractors, and employees
Good IT skills
