Due to the retirement of our Head of Housekeeping, we are looking for a committed and experienced Head of Housekeeping (m/f/d) for the Schweizerhof Lenzerheide. In this role, you will take responsibility for the smooth operation of the entire housekeeping department and lead your team with expertise, organizational talent, and a high level of quality awareness. Together with the entire team and your deputy, you will ensure that our guests always feel comfortable.
Your tasks with us
• Professional and personnel management of housekeeping
• Leadership, coaching (training), and motivation of the housekeeping team
• Duty and deployment planning
• Ensuring and monitoring our cleanliness, hygiene, and quality standards
• Organizing efficient workflows and smooth daily processes
• Purchasing cleaning and consumable materials including inventory management and stock control
• Quality checks in guest rooms and public areas
• Close cooperation with the Rooms Division Manager to ensure optimal room availability
• Professional support, training, and supervision of our apprentices
• Planning, implementation, and documentation of training content according to the education plan
Your profile
• Completed training in the hotel sector or housekeeping
• Several years of professional experience in housekeeping as well as leadership experience
• Completed trainer course (or willingness to complete it)
• Enjoyment in training and promoting apprentices
• Organizational talent, assertiveness, and high quality awareness
• Very good German skills, additional languages such as Italian, Portuguese, or English are an advantage
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style
• Resilience, flexibility, and ability to work in a team
• Identification with the values of the Hotel Schweizerhof Lenzerheide
