For an external customer project in the greater Vaduz area, we are looking for an experienced, competent personality for the role of Test Architect at senior level (from 5 years) (long-term mandate) starting 01.01.2026
Main tasks:
- Responsible for the introduction of test tools in development projects, thereby increasing the efficiency of the test process.
- Practical experience with the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in testing from projects or customer assignments, proof by brief description of the project or assignment.
- At least 1 year of experience as a test architect in large software projects or programs with very extensive quality assurance (CI/CD processes, complex test stage structure, unit tests, manual tests, test automation, load and performance tests, UX and WAI tests) in an agile environment.
- Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments. Familiar with build and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) and able to ensure that tests are seamlessly integrated into the development process.
- Practical experience in creating, implementing, and optimizing test concepts and processes. Knowledge of relevant frameworks in Java and Microsoft environments (e.g., JUnit, NUnit, .NET) and familiarity with cloud and container platforms (e.g., AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes). These skills enable the design of test strategies for Microsoft services architectures and cloud applications.
- Competence in selecting and introducing test tools. Responsible for the optimal selection of test methods and tools as well as infrastructure planning. Objectively evaluates tools according to defined criteria and introduces suitable solutions across teams. Documents decision processes and trains the team in using new tools.
Requirements (content, methodology, technology):
Mandatory:
- ISTQB Advanced Level certifications – Test Manager, Technical Test Analyst, Test Automation Engineer or a comparable qualification, proof by certificate or training confirmation.
- Certification in additional Advanced, Expert or Specialist certificates or a comparable qualification, proof by certificate or training confirmation.
- Completed IT-oriented education at least at FH level or 8 years of relevant experience in IT projects.
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a test architect in software development projects with manual tests, test automation, test data management as well as load and performance tests. Has significantly introduced and continuously developed test automation frameworks.
- At least 2 years of experience with agile approaches and methods in an agile software development environment as test manager, delivery manager, or scrum master.
- German: Very good German skills (native speaker or level C1)
- English: Good English skills
