About the job
The Office for Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy of the Canton of Thurgau is a central service provider within the Cantonal Administration of Thurgau with its five district debt enforcement offices and the bankruptcy office.
The office employs around 100 staff, apprentices, and interns in the two specialist areas. The Debt Enforcement Office District Frauenfeld is responsible for carrying out all debt enforcement procedures according to the provisions of the Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) within the district of Frauenfeld.
To complement the administration team, we are looking for a service-oriented personality for the Debt Enforcement Office District Frauenfeld from July 1, 2026, or by arrangement as
After thorough training, you will independently take on administrative tasks in debt enforcement. This includes internal case processing with all associated tasks. In your daily work, you regularly have contact (in person, by phone, and in writing) with debtors, creditors, employers, authorities, etc.
You fit with us if you:
- have completed a commercial or equivalent education/training and have already gained professional experience,
- have a flair for numbers,
- preferably already have knowledge in the field of debt enforcement law or are willing to further educate yourself in this specialist area,
- work independently, accurately, and efficiently,
- are skilled in dealing with people in difficult situations,
- are able to maintain a correct but firm approach with our clients, possess assertiveness, and consider discretion a matter of course,
- have an interest in legal issues, and
- hold a category B driving license (an e-fleet vehicle is available at the location).
