Senior Finance Specialist (m/f/d)
ResponsibilitiesSG&A Controlling & Planning
- Responsibility for SG&A controlling including budget, forecast and monthly closing
- Analysis of cost developments, identification of variances and derivation or follow-up of measures together with the responsible managers
- Responsibility for SG&A accruals and ensuring correct representation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Management and analysis of short-term cash forecast and cash development
- Support in managing working capital, especially in receivables management
- Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Coordination and review of the financial statements of two subsidiaries
- Responsibility for VAT returns
- Coordination of internal and external audits and central contact person for audit firms
- Responsibility for monitoring, documentation and further development of the internal control system (ICS) as well as the corresponding group reporting
- Participation in finance projects and conducting demanding ad-hoc analyses
Requirements
- Completed commercial or business administration training, ideally with further education in finance and accounting, controlling or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting as well as controlling
- Experience in cost controlling and budget planning
- Good knowledge of liquidity planning and cash forecast preparation
- Very good MS Office/Excel skills and a strong affinity for IT systems and ERP solutions
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, as well as good English skills
- Independent, structured and reliable working style
- Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of business contexts
- Communication and teamwork skills as well as a professional approach to internal and external contacts
