Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that users receive exactly the access rights they need for their tasks – always following the principle of least privilege.

You support the departments as the central contact person for the role and authorization concept as well as all topics related to SAP User Access Management.

Furthermore, you actively contribute to the continuous development of our GRC application and our Access Control processes.

Work model: hybrid

This role forms an important bridge between IT infrastructure and departments to protect sensitive data while ensuring efficient business processes.

Your main tasks

• Maintenance and further development of SAP role and authorization concepts in collaboration with the departments

• Conducting user access reviews as well as regular access controls for internal and external audits

• Analysis and evaluation of critical authorizations and segregation-of-duties (SoD) conflicts

• Support and further development of the SAP GRC system (Access Control, Risk Analysis & Remediation, Firefighter)

Our team

You will be part of a multicultural SAP team where collaboration and mutual support are highly valued. Locally, the team consists of six members including the hiring manager; overall, you will work with an extended team of 15–20 people as well as external service providers. Quality, exchange, and continuous improvement are particularly important to us.

Your profile

• Several years of practical experience in SAP role and authorization management, ideally with S/4HANA and Fiori

• Experience as an SAP Security Consultant or in a similar role in SAP security/authorization

• Solid understanding of audit requirements, IT security, and compliance processes

• Experience in analyzing and resolving authorization issues (e.g., SU53, system traces) as well as supporting SAP upgrades and projects

• Good knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control (e.g., ARA, EAM/Firefighter, ARM, BRM) as well as maintaining SoD rule sets and risk definitions

• Strong communication, team, and problem-solving skills as well as a structured working style

• Completed vocational training or university degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field

• Very good German and English skills (C1–C2)
