The Center Management Glatt takes care of the most successful shopping center in Switzerland with great passion and on behalf of the owner. With a small, efficient team, we ensure all services in the areas of center management and marketing as well as technical, infrastructural, and commercial building management around this property. Our customers are at the center with the goal of offering our over 9 million annual visitors a relaxed, varied, and unique shopping experience.
Your Tasks
- You carry out maintenance and repair work on our properties
- You take operational responsibility for all event setups and support the execution of events
- You perform general logistics and disposal tasks and manage the external warehouse of our marketing department
- You assist with parking cleaning and take on winter and on-call duties
- You check escape and rescue routes according to regulations and initiate necessary measures
- You are the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders at the Glatt site
- You take over operational management during the absence of the Head of Building Services and support him in daily business
Your Profile
- You have completed a basic craft training with a federal specialist certificate or are a certified building maintenance professional EFZ
- You work independently, structured, and bring pronounced technical understanding as well as manual skills
- You like to plan and coordinate, work service-oriented, and have a high degree of personal responsibility as well as a hands-on mentality
- Ideally, you have experience in trade fair construction or event setup and have initial operational leadership experience
- You are communicative, present yourself professionally, and can express yourself confidently both orally and in writing
- You are resilient, physically fit, not afraid of heights, and ready for irregular assignments (early/late shifts, Monday to Saturday; occasionally night or Sunday shifts)
- You hold a category B/BE driving license, ideally a forklift license
- You are proficient in common MS Office applications and feel comfortable in complex building structures
