The Health Directorate of the Canton of Zurich ensures a high-quality and economically sustainable healthcare system in the Canton of Zurich. It guarantees seamless medical treatment and care and promotes the health of the Zurich population.
The Finance Department in the General Secretariat is responsible for the financial management of the directorate and accounting. It is also responsible for the area of individual premium reductions (IPV) and acts as the owner for the four cantonal hospitals.
We are looking for an Accounting Clerk, 80 - 90%, to start immediately or by arrangement for a fixed term of six months.

Your tasks
- Invoicing of permits for professional practice in medical fields and decisions of the Cantonal Ethics Commission (KEK)
- Monitoring and control of accounts receivable including dunning and debt collection process
- Processing clearing accounts and handling refunds
- Handling the accounts payable workflow including payment runs
- Bookings and reconciliation work in the general and subsidiary ledgers (intercompany)
- Support with interim and annual financial statements
- Participation in the optimization and digitization of accounting processes
Your profile
- Completed commercial basic training EFZ
- Experience in accounting and further training in finance (e.g., accounting clerk, professional certificate in finance and accounting)
- Independent, structured, and precise working style
- Quick comprehension, flexibility, and resilience
- Team- and service-oriented thinking and acting
- IT skills: MS Office and SAP FI/CO
