Process Engineer (Electronics)
As an Automation & Test Equipment Engineer, you are responsible for the development and implementation of automated assembly and end-of-line test solutions that support efficient, reliable, and scalable production processes. In close collaboration with global, cross-functional teams and external partners, you ensure that production and test equipment meet technical, quality, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities-
Carrying out the entire development cycle of automated assembly and end-of-line test systems with a focus on electrical hardware.

Design, construction, validation, and approval of production test systems and equipment in cooperation with internal teams and external suppliers.

Gathering user requirements from global stakeholders and translating them into technical specifications and system requirements.

Supporting global production sites in the introduction of new end-of-line test processes, equipment, and production solutions as part of the implementation of new products and processes.

Developing and implementing technical solutions in compliance with applicable industry standards and best engineering practices.

Creating technical specifications and documentation according to applicable CE conformity requirements.

Producing flowcharts, system layouts, and technical documentation to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of solutions.

Integrating electrical and electronic components into complete automation systems.

Developing verification plans and supporting quality assurance and validation activities.

Analysing, optimising, and further developing existing automation and test solutions to improve performance and reliability.

Maintaining accurate technical documentation and ensuring system definitions are up to date.

Reviewing user feedback, implementing improvements, and continuously developing equipment and processes.

Providing third-level technical support to production sites as needed.

Completed bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical field with solid knowledge in electrical engineering.

Good written and spoken English skills required; German skills are an advantage.

Experience with electrical production and test equipment required.

Experience in automating production, assembly, and end-of-line test processes required.

Experience working on cross-functional projects in an industrial production environment.

Excellent knowledge of electrical hardware for industrial applications.

Experience with automation platforms such as Beckhoff/TwinCAT required; knowledge of Siemens systems is an advantage.

Understanding of industrial system architectures and data storage concepts.

Knowledge of engineering development processes, methods, and best practices.

Experience with valve technology and cleanroom environments is an advantage.
