About the job
Assistant Public Prosecutor 100%The Public Prosecutor's Office I of the Canton of Zurich conducts cantonal criminal investigations against adults in the area of serious violent crime.
As of April 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking to complement our team with your support as a legal assistant public prosecutor (100%).
What awaits you with us
The focus of your responsible tasks is the handling of criminal investigations concerning capital crimes (homicides, etc.), qualified sexual offenses, child protection cases, and particularly demanding cases of domestic violence, as well as sharing on-call duty with an experienced public prosecutor.
How you convince us
You have completed your law studies with above-average success. Since then, you have practically demonstrated your solid knowledge in criminal and criminal procedural law, for example as an auditor at a criminal investigation authority or a court, or as an assistant public prosecutor in another canton. Ideally, you have a lawyer's license or a similar additional qualification. You are enthusiastic about technological developments and the digitalization of justice.
You personally identify with criminal prosecution. Integrity and discretion are a matter of course for you. You are very resilient, confident, and find the right tone in dealing with parties involved in proceedings and interface partners such as the police. You are a winning, committed, and team-oriented personality with the will to continue your professional development.
