We are looking for an experienced personality to shape our data warehouse and BI landscape with modern Microsoft technologies and solid Kimball expertise.
Your area of responsibility
- You develop and implement modern, high-performance cube solutions and dimensional data mart models according to the principles of the Kimball method using current Microsoft technologies
- You take responsibility for all phases of the data warehouse development chain – from data integration to model-based storage (SSIS, TSQL) to visualization and analysis with Power BI
- In close coordination with the specialist departments, you support data analysis, create meaningful reports and dashboards in Power BI, thus making a decisive contribution to data-driven optimization of business decisions
- You accompany and shape the multi-year transformation of existing on-premise solutions and architectures to modern services in the Azure Cloud
Your strengths
- You have outstanding expertise in Microsoft technologies SSIS, SSAS (Tabular and Multidimensional Model), T-SQL, and Power BI and are skilled in dimensional data modeling according to the principles of the Kimball method
- You bring at least five years of solid practical experience in the data warehouse and business intelligence environment of large companies, ideally within the insurance or financial services industry
- Experience with the Databricks data platform is an advantage
- Strong initiative, target group-oriented communication skills, and team orientation are among your strengths, as well as experience in using agile working methods
- Your qualification is based on a successfully completed degree in computer science (university of applied sciences/university) or an equivalent qualification
- You communicate fluently in German and have very good English skills
