WinGD is looking for a
Development Expert Combustion
Responsibilities:
- Develop new thermodynamic and combustion concepts for WinGD 2-stroke engines by applying fundamental understanding of engine mixture formation, ignition and combustion
- Use simulation tools to support technology application and engine tests
- Design and integrate combustion system components into engines
- Define engine thermodynamic layout and engine tuning parameters by performing hands-on testing on engines in laboratories and at licensee site world-wide
- Define and maintain engine performance data based on simulations and testing results
- Support customers and licensees with inquiries
Requirements:
- M.Sc. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with Chemical/Combustion/Thermodynamic background
- Know-how related to (2-stroke) engine thermodynamics, combustion and turbocharging
- Experience with engine combustion system development
- Knowledge of one-dimensional simulation tools
- Experience in testing of internal combustion engines
- Handling a wide range of tasks in parallel
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal & external customers
- Open for traveling (mainly Asia)
- >5 years of relevant experience desirable
- Good command of English language (written & oral), German appreciated
