The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. As a Cook, you contribute daily to the production of high-quality meals intended for patients, staff, and the hospital's satellite services. You participate in the excellence of hotel care while respecting food safety, hygiene, and quality management requirements.
The main duties of this position are
As a Cook, you contribute daily to the production of high-quality meals intended for patients, staff, and the hospital's satellite services. You participate in the excellence of hotel care while respecting food safety, hygiene, and quality management requirements.

Prepare meals daily according to technical sheets and established planning.

Ensure a high and consistent taste quality of preparations.

Strictly apply hospital hygiene, food safety, and occupational safety rules.

Participate in the production chain as well as the distribution of meals to patients and staff.

Ensure cleaning of the workstation and used equipment.

Contribute to a good working atmosphere and communicate necessary information for service continuity.

Supervise and support kitchen assistants and participate in apprentice training.

Engage in quality management and continuous service improvement.

Ensure proper functioning of equipment by reporting any defects to management.

Strictly apply the HACCP method and ensure traceability.

A CFC Cook diploma or equivalent qualification.

Excellent knowledge of hygiene rules, food safety, and good HACCP practices.

A strong sense of organization, rigor, and quality.

Ability to work independently while promoting team spirit.

A customer service oriented attitude, with concern for the well-being of patients and staff.

Good communication skills internally and in information transmission.

Ability to manage priorities and work in a dynamic environment.

Flexibility and availability according to service needs (irregular hours / weekends).
