About the job
What you can achieve
- Taking over the preparation and assistance in minor surgical procedures in the practice's own operating room (e.g. vasectomies, catheter changes, endoscopies)
- Performing blood draws and injections as well as laboratory tasks
- Implementation of hygiene standards and responsibility for the sterilization of instruments
- Support with administrative tasks (processing electronic medical records with the practice software Vitomed, preparation of meetings with speech recognition)
What you bring with you
- Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant (MPA), Health Specialist (FaGe) or comparable training; also possible: Dipl. Nurse or Surgical Technical Assistant in the role of MPA
- Experience in an acute hospital or in a practice
- Experience in assisting with minor surgical procedures and in the operating room area is an advantage
- Good knowledge in the application of hygiene and sterilization guidelines
