Qualified Social Educator (M/F) - Le Mont-Blanc Group
What if you helped us design a more inclusive society?
Located in the Vevey region, between city and
countryside, the Cité du Genévrier welcomes adults with disabilities due to intellectual impairment.
A multidisciplinary and multi-site structure, it offers the people it welcomes a particularly harmonious living and working environment as well as a set of skills
adapted to the needs and aspirations of each individual.
Integrated into the Eben-Hézer Foundation, the Cité du Genévrier is the custodian of the moral testament of its founder, Sister Julie Hofmann. It thus considers the happiness of the people it welcomes as the ultimate goal of its action.
Mission
The "Le Mont-Blanc" group is a living place welcoming adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, with associated behavioral disorders. The mission is to welcome these people and support them daily to help them maintain physical balance, but especially psychological balance. In co-construction with the beneficiary, the educational team develops and uses the necessary tools to manage their anxieties and avoid behavioral disorders. Several work axes are employed, such as communication, building trust, structuring time and space, regulating stimuli, education on life rules and values.
The creation of partnerships with various internal and external bodies, the organization of camps and day activities, as well as the development of life projects (outings, trips, etc.), are fundamental support axes in the philosophy of the Mont-Blanc group.
