The Mandement Residence is looking for 1 Head Nurse of Unit (ICUS 2) on a permanent contract (CDI) at 80 to 100%

We offer a rewarding experience within a passionate and committed multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for:

• Managing, coordinating, and supervising care activities (care objectives, team organization, care guidelines and protocols, quality of services provided by the nursing staff, maintaining the resident's computerized file, ongoing relationships with residents, their relatives and curators, internal and external care networks…)

• Supervising teams (participation in recruitment, scheduling and managing absences, leading meetings, monitoring hours and vacation balances, evaluating and training collaborators…)

• Managing communication (disseminating information to residents and relatives, collaborating with the resident's physician, the attending physician, disseminating information to collaborators…)

• Managing equipment (stock and orders of equipment and medications, monitoring consumption, assessing equipment needs…)

Profile sought

• Holder of a Nursing diploma (mandatory)
• Experience with elderly people, minimum 2 years (mandatory)
• Experience in team management (mandatory)
• Knowledge of the DIR software from Sadies (an asset).
• Good level of French in writing and speaking.
• Empathy, patience, and kindness
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong sense of rigor and responsibility.
• Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
