Do you want to actively shape the future of energy supply? In this responsible role, you will contribute your expertise in network protection systems and work together with a dedicated team on safe and reliable high-voltage networks. As part of a succession plan, we are looking for an open-minded and committed individual as an engineer for our network protection systems in Eastern Switzerland at our Baden location.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Creation of concepts, technical reports and evaluations in the field of network protection, primarily in the 110 and 50 kV high-voltage network.
Preparation of setting calculations for network protection
Technical management and deputy deployment planning of the commissioning team
Advising our customers and developing appropriate protection concepts
Monitoring the correct protection functionality in our network area and deriving measures
Fault analyses including preparation of reports after network short circuits
Preparation of offers for network protection and commissioning projects
Offer calculation and preparation for secondary services focusing on control, protection and commissioning
Project/subproject management in projects focusing on secondary technical systems
Profile and Skills
Completed engineering degree FH/ETH/U in electrical engineering/energy technology or equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in the field of electrical protection systems for substations and ideally also power plants
Professional experience in commissioning protection/control devices of high-voltage systems
Responsible and decisive personality
Good IT skills: MS Office
Very good German and good English skills, French desirable
Independence, reliability and ability to work in a team
Ability to pass on expertise to other employees and to lead them technically
