Caretaker / Equipment Technician (m/f)

About the job

The Kantonsschule Frauenfeld is a school with around 850 students, 110 teachers, and 50 employees in the school administration. The school has a caretaking service with a wide-ranging mandate. This includes the operation and maintenance of the properties, the building technology systems, the surroundings, as well as services of all kinds for internal school and public events.

We are looking for a committed, professionally skilled, and competent individual as of May 1, 2026, or by agreement, as

• Maintenance of properties, machines, and equipment
• Operation of technical systems
• Ensuring the cleaning of the building
• Supporting teachers in the use of technical devices
• Supervision of cleaning staff
• Various administrative tasks
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends

• Completed electrical engineering training with very good technical understanding
• Good knowledge of multimedia technology and lighting systems
• Federal specialist certificate for caretakers or willingness to obtain it
