About the job
Our numerous offers support people with a migration background in integration and on the path to economic and social independence.
The Language & Integration department includes language, education, and integration programs for migrants of all ages and educational levels. Each semester, 500 to 600 participants attend our various course offerings in the Language & Integration area.
Thanks to your open and communicative nature, you quickly gain access to other people and cultures and find it easy to build a relationship with your counterpart. In this versatile and varied internship position, you will gain an exciting insight into the work of our teachers and course leaders and accompany and support our participants in their courses. Guided and supported by our competent and experienced team, the following exciting tasks await you:
Your main tasks
- Support and assistance to the course management in designing and conducting educational sequences
- Administrative support of the department and specialist department management and the course leaders
- Management and administration of teaching materials as well as support in the further development of the material pool
- Assistance and supervision of course participants (youth and adults)
- Collaboration in other departments and offers (including vocational integration, social information)
Your profile
- Interest in the field of language acquisition
- Completed vocational training with initial experience in the labor market or in a corresponding training for the professional field
- Openness towards different people and cultures
- Very good German and IT skills
- Social competence and patience
