Portrait of the School/Institution
The Campus Muristalden (www.muristalden.ch) is a private, state-recognized and partially subsidized school based in Bern. The working community currently includes around 500 children, adolescents, and adults in the areas of primary school (Prim 1 - 6, Sek I and Special Education Integration Classes HIK), bridging programs, high school, and continuing education.
The HIK are a special primary school offer (bVSA) that Campus Muristalden AG carries out on behalf of the Canton of Bern. It is aimed at children and adolescents who have a diagnosis in the area of neurodivergence.
From February 1, 2026, we are looking for a special education integration class teacher

Tasks
• You teach 18 - 22 lessons in a small class with up to 7 learners with intensified special education measures and an individual teaching program focusing on self and social skills.
• You form the co-class leadership of learning group 3 (6th – 9th grade) together with the social pedagogue.
• You maintain close and solution-oriented communication within the class team (consisting of social pedagogue, subject teachers, and teaching assistants). The individual support of the learners and guidance in the learning process is the focus.
• You promote collaboration across learning groups
• You actively contribute your experience in working with parents and specialist agencies
• You are committed both across learning groups and in our exciting project for the further development of the HIK.
Requirements
Ideally, you have completed training in the field of school special education or are currently obtaining the corresponding qualification. Or you already have diverse professional experience, including as a teacher for learners on the neurodivergence spectrum (ASD, ADHD/HSP)? Are you characterized by a certain stress resistance, cheerfulness, and great flexibility when working with children? Are you creative, innovative, and active and enjoy implementing the curriculum creatively? You help to enable learners to have a structured school day with your organized way of working. You are a team player and enjoy working trustfully and cooperatively with your colleagues and the management team? Then we are exactly the right place for your professional new start.

CHF 150.00 per month and 2.5% additional workload for co-class leadership)
