Regent Lighting, based in Basel, employs around 600 people in six countries, is the market leader in Switzerland and one of the leading lighting manufacturers in Europe. Our products are distributed internationally in 35 countries through distribution partners.

Our financial accounting department in Basel is the heart of the financial management of the entire Regent Group. In this key position, you take responsibility for the further development of our financial processes and contribute to ensuring that our figures provide a reliable basis for business decisions.

Head of Financial Accounting (m/f)

Your tasks

• You take overall responsibility for the financial accounting of the holding company and its subsidiaries in Switzerland and Europe
• You prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and Swiss GAAP FER
• You ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate external tax advisors and authorities
• You conduct group-level consolidation and continuously optimize accounting processes
• You work closely with our accounting team in Serbia and harmonize policies and procedures
• You support the introduction and further development of financial systems, especially EOS 365
• You are the contact person for external partners such as auditors, tax authorities, and banks

Your profile

• You have completed higher education in finance and accounting (e.g., professional certificate in finance and accounting, certified expert in accounting and controlling)
• You have solid knowledge of Swiss accounting law (OR, Swiss GAAP FER) as well as experience with international standards
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar leadership role, ideally in an international SME environment
• You are experienced in using ERP systems, ideally D365
• You demonstrate leadership skills, initiative, organizational talent, and strong communication abilities
• You work in a structured, innovative way and enjoy developing processes and teams
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile; French skills are an advantage
