Get on board and help shape the RBS, the Regional Transport Bern-Solothurn.
On road and rail, we transport over 23 million passengers annually. Around 500 employees ensure every day in various meaningful and varied activities that our passengers reach their destination safely, punctually, and relaxed. Together, we make a significant contribution to the development of sustainable mobility in the region. The Worb workshop is responsible for heavy maintenance (overhaul/repairs) of three passenger fleets as well as RBS construction service vehicles and also carries out the main inspection of Bernmobil trams (ECM 4). The workshop is jointly managed by three masters from the fields of electrical, mechanical, and car body (climate, paint shop) and comprises around 30 employees. Due to an internal position change, we are looking for our new workshop manager.

Your Tasks
- You independently manage the workshop according to business management principles as well as the strategic guidelines of the company and the department management
- You are responsible for overhaul/workshop planning and further develop maintenance (ECM 2)
- With your reliable planning and organizational skills, you make an important contribution to achieving goals regarding quality, customer, and employee satisfaction
- You coordinate important processes across departments and represent the workshop to internal and external contacts (Railplus, Bernmobil, industry)
- You design processes and workflows for the future operation with the Bätterkinden depot (modular overhaul) and the interfaces
You Bring
- An independent, dynamic working style with direct/indirect leadership experience
- Degree as a certified technician HF or engineer FH/ETH
- Rail knowledge and SAP knowledge in vehicle maintenance (PM) are advantageous
- A communicative, open, and flexible personality with a flair for people, technology, and numbers
