The apprenticeship at a glance

Duration of training

The apprenticeship to become a Metalworker EFZ lasts four years.

Vocational school

You attend vocational school in Visp one day per week.

Professional knowledge

At vocational school, the following subject areas are taught to you

• Specialist knowledge
• General education
• Technical mathematics / physics
• Materials science / manufacturing technology
• Technical drawing

Vocational baccalaureate

With very good school performance, the vocational baccalaureate school can be attended during basic training.
