· Independent handling of projects and tasks in the field of spatial planning (e.g., zoning and land use planning, neighborhood planning, design planning, value-added compensation)
· Collaboration on strategic questions of spatial development as well as support of the department head in overarching planning tasks
· Coordination of planning projects as well as cooperation with internal specialist departments, external planning offices, and political bodies
· Depending on experience and profile, taking on leadership and coordination tasks in the spatial and environmental planning department (e.g., co-leadership)
· Medium-term takeover of the department head position as part of the succession plan is planned (at the latest by mid-2028 with a 70% workload)
· Specialist with training in spatial planning or a related discipline (e.g., environmental sciences, geography, architecture, or comparable education)
· Several years of practical experience in spatial planning, ideally in a municipal environment
· Experience in project management is an advantage
· Confident German language skills in speaking and writing
· Good computer skills
· Personal qualities: open to new things, quick comprehension, team-oriented, independent and structured working style
