The geriatric psychiatry and psychotherapy departments at the Minervastrasse and Lenggstrasse locations offer inpatient, outpatient, and day clinic services for patients aged 65 and older, focusing on dementia, affective disorders, addiction disorders, pain, sleep disorders, and psychoses.
For the inpatient activity at the Minervastrasse location, we are looking for a maternity cover starting May 1, 2026, or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Ensuring competent patient care in the assigned area
- Senior medical leadership of the interdisciplinary team
- Training of subordinate assistant physicians
- Conducting internal case supervisions
- Conducting student teaching
- Participation in internal and cross-departmental projects as well as committees
- Participation in background senior physician on-call service
- Psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment of patients in the inpatient setting.
Your profile
- Medical license (requirement: Swiss professional recognition MEBEKO & German language registration)
- Completed or advanced training as a specialist FMH in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
- You place the person at the center of your work
- Experience in geriatric psychiatric care is an advantage
- Resilience and teamwork skills as well as interest in interprofessional collaboration
- Independent working style, taking responsibility, and decision-making ability
