Internship Product Development Engineer
Your responsibilities

Execute mechanical and material design changes and maintain technical documentation.

Support injection molding team with design adaptations and tooling updates.

Collaborate with suppliers on technical aspects of component changes.

Ensure product documentation is complete and compliant with internal and regulatory standards.

Plan and support verification and validation activities for design changes and prepare the documentation for V&V reports. Coordinate external lab testing and evaluate results.

Execute complaint investigations and provide technical input for and NCRs. Support Quality Engineering in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Participate in design reviews and risk assessments (DFMEA, PFMEA, System Risk Analysis).
What you bring along
-
Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

0–1 years of experience in product development or sustaining engineering, preferably in medical de-vices or regulated industries.

Experience with CAD tools (e.g., Creo) and PLM systems.

Good physics knowledge, e.g. from the fields of vacuum technology, mechanics, fluiddynamics, material properties. Basic knowledge of injection molding and plastic materials.

Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Fluent in English, German is a plus.
Location
This is a Zug-based hybrid role, with some in-office days each week to enable rapid collaboration.
