Your tasks
3-year training:
- Three-year basic vocational training to become a Health Specialist with a federal diploma (EFZ, annual start in August)
- Attendance at vocational school and inter-company courses (OdA in St. Gallen)
- Training contract with the Valens Clinics for 3 years
Shortened 2-year training for adults (You have completed compulsory schooling, secondary or intermediate school):
- Minimum age 22 years or completed training with EFZ
- Practical professional experience in the field of activity of at least 2 years at at least 60%
Training in practice:
- Part-time workload of at least 80%
- Shift work and weekend duties according to company requirements
Training at vocational school:
- Professional knowledge: one school day per week, general education: one school day per week
- General education can be attended in a one-year course before the start of the apprenticeship
- The Office for Vocational Education can grant a dispensation from general education classes if a vocational apprenticeship has already been completed
