Your Main Tasks

• Leadership & Responsibility: Management of a department for patients in the field of neurosurgery, overall responsibility for the care of the North 1 N & M wards of the USZ with a total of 32 beds
• Ensuring Care Quality: Admission, care, and holistic nursing of patients with all neurosurgical conditions at the highest nursing standard
• Promoting & Developing Employees: Leading a committed team according to modern leadership principles, supporting employees in their daily work and assisting in their professional, social, and personal development
• Targeted Use of Resources: Planning and coordinating personnel, material, and infrastructural resources to ensure optimal and efficient patient care
• Shaping & Further Development: Designing organizational structures and work processes to ensure contemporary, patient-oriented care in line with the primary nursing concept
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Close and professional cooperation on equal footing with medical services, therapies, hospitality, and other areas of the USZ; also as a member of the clinic management

Your Profile

• Registered nurse HF or FH and completed further training in management or interest in completing a MAS with a focus on leadership
• Several years of leadership experience, high leadership competence, and willingness to actively shape our value- and people-oriented leadership culture
• Enthusiasm, joy in working with people, and strong sense of responsibility
• Integrity, strong communication skills, and the ability to promote a supportive, respectful interaction
• High service orientation with the desire for optimal patient care
