- Develop and maintain work instructions, quality inspections, quality work instructions and documentation throughout the facility.
- Take the quality lead for customer projects following APQP and customer maturity level assurance.
- Perform systematic problem solving following the 8D method.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO, IATF, and VDA.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Collaborate with purchasing team to resolve quality issues within the supply chain.
- Review and approve quality plans, inspection procedures, and test methods.
- Provide technical support for customer complaints and nonconformance investigations.
- Work with team to determine disposition of suspect material.
- Work with a team and support MSA studies and processes.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Certification in Six Sigma, FMEA moderation, 8D, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5 is preferred
- Strong knowledge of ISO, IATF and VDA.
- Experience of the Audit process and/or willing to have training to be certified.
