Administrator in the Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolism Service
The Department of Medicine at CHUV is looking for an administrator for the Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolism Service, with a workload between 80% - 100%, for a start date on April 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Attached to the Department of Medicine at CHUV, the Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolism Service specializes in endocrinology, diabetes, lipids, obesity, as well as eating behavior and nutrition disorders. Our approach is multidisciplinary, patient-centered, with cutting-edge clinical practice based on the latest advances in medical research.
Mission
- You ensure the organizational and financial management of the Service
- You manage the administrative staff of the Service
- You ensure budget compliance, monitor it, and manage the Service's funds
- You define, update, and ensure the application of internal, departmental, and institutional processes
- You participate in implementing the strategic objectives of the Service
- You develop and manage the logistical organization and act as the IT contact person for the Service.
Profile
- You hold a management and business degree from a business or management school (HEC, HEG), ideally complemented by certified training in healthcare institution management
- You have at least 4 years of experience in a comparable position, ideally in the hospital sector
- You have a highly developed team spirit, are autonomous, and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Your excellent communication skills are recognized, and you are accustomed to adapting to different interlocutors
- You are recognized for excellent management quality and skills in both financial and HR management
- You master common IT tools perfectly and adapt easily to new software.
